Phil Abraham To Direct First Episodes Of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Season Two

Phil Abraham is set to direct the first two episodes of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan season two for Amazon. Deadline has confirmed that the director (Mad Men, GLOW) will direct the first episodes of the drama’s second run. Abraham will executive produce the series in season two.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan is a reinvention with of the Tom Clancy hero, played by John Krasinski. In the first season, Ryan is an up-and-coming CIA analyst thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time. The series follows the titular character as he uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale.
