Police Called After Stan Lee’s Former Bodyguard Refuses To Leave Home

TMZ reports that police were called to the home of Marvel legend Stan Lee yesterday when a former bodyguard refused to leave the Los Angeles property. Max Anderson, a convicted felon, was asked by both Lee and his daughter to leave but wouldn’t go. Representatives from adult protective services were also called. When police arrived they spoke to Anderson and got him to leave peacefully. Lee has now hired private security to watch his home at all hours to prevent more intrusions.

This is the latest in a series of difficulties for Lee. He was hospitalized for heart issues earlier this month. Police are also investigating the unauthorized purchase of a condo in his name for $850,000.
