Police Reportedly Confident on Catching Kevin Hart’s Extortionist

TMZ has released the latest update in the ongoing extortion case for actor and comedian Kevin Hart. According to the latest update, authorities are said to be confident they will catch the parties behind the extortion against Hart based on some recent evidence that was seized.

Authorities reportedly gathered information that connects multiple believe they were believed were involved in the extortion plot in an attempt to gain seven figures from Hart in return for a secret sex tape where he was unknowningly filmed. The evidence includes phone records showing the identities of those believed to be involved in the plot.

The report also mentions that the suspects in the extortion case are said not to be people Hart personally knew. The people who reportedly partied with Hart and Montia Sabbag, the woman featured in the sex tape, knew who Sabbag was. However, they reportedly did know personally know Kevin Hart.

Additionally, Sabbag and her lawyer, Lisa Bloom, are reportedly set to meet with investigators at some point later on. Investigators also wish to analyze information before speaking with her. Sabbag previously insisted at a news conference that she was not part of the extortion plot against Hart.
