Filming has begun on the Disney+ Rogue One prequel series focusing on Cassian Andor, with filming set to star on the Obi-Wan series next month. Diego Luna appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and confirmed that filming has begun on the Cassian Andor show in London.

Luna talked about the series’ premise, saying, “It’s basically everything you have to know to understand Rogue One The story of the character before. I can spoil the ending I guess!…It’s nice to go into a story you already know the ending. Now you can take the nuances and the layers. I think it’s fun to do something that isn’t just about getting to the end. It’s about delaying that.”

In addition, Production List reports that Star Wars: Kenobi will begin filming on January 4th in both Boston and London. The series will star Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as Obi-Wan from the prequels, along with Naomi Scott (Aladdin). Plot details are being kept under wraps for the six-episode series.
