Quentin Tarantino Planning to Film Eight-Episode TV Series In 2023

Quentin Tarantino says he is returning to the small screen for an eight-episode TV series to shoot next year. The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood director spoke at an event promoting his new book Cinema Speculation on Wednesday (per Variety) and noted that he is set to film the series in 2023.

Details around the series were not revealed by Tarantino, who has previously directed two episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2005. He was previously reported as attached to direct two episodes of the FX revival Justified: City Primeval but there hasn’t been any updates since that was reported in February.

Tarantino has regularly said that he plans to stop making movies after his tenth film, which will be his next one. He has circled a Star Trek film in the past, but said in 2020 that he didn’t think that would end up happening.
