Renee Zellweger to Star in Netflix Social Thriller What/If

Renee Zellweger is heading to Netflix to star in a new social thriller, What/If, from the streaming service. Netflix announced that the series will star Zellweger as Anne. Mike Kelley (Revenge, Swingtown) is writing and showrunning, and will executive produce alongside Melissa Loy (Page Fright); Alex Gartner, Charles Roven (Atlas Entertainment); Robert Zemeckis, and Jack Rapke (Compari Entertainment).

What/If explores the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things. Each season will tackle a different morality tale inspired by culturally consequential source material, and the power of a single fateful decision to change the trajectory of an entire life.

The series’ first season will consist of ten hour-long episodes.
