Filming has wrapped on Disney’s Jungle Cruise movie, which stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt. The film announced the news with a video posted to YouTube, which you can see below. The Jaume Collet-Serra-directed film stars Johnson, Blunt, Jack Whitehall, Edgar Ramirez, Jesse Plemons, Paul Giamatti, Andy Nyman, Quim Gutierrez, Veronica Falcon and Dani Rovira and releases on October 11th, 2019.

Set in the 1930s, Jungle Cruise follows Johnson’s Captain Frank taking Blunt’s Lily Houghton and her brother (Whitehall) into a mysterious jungle to find a tree said to have healing properties. Naturally, though, the adventure is anything but uneventful, because along with the group having to avoid natural threats lurking within the jungle, like dangerous wild animals, they’ll also be trailed by a competing German expedition.
