In the midst of the ongoing Harvey Weinstein scandal, we reported last week that Amazon Studios president Roy Price was accused of sexual harassment by a producer of The Man in the High Castle. Price was suspended from his job and now the Huffington Post reports that Price has resigned from his position. Albert Cheng, who became interim president last week, will remain in that role with Price gone. A spokeswoman for Amazon Studios confirmed Price’s departure but added that “there is no statement at this time.”

Producer Isa Hackett, the victim of Price, initially told The Hollywood Reporter when the story broke: “As somebody with some power, I feel it is imperative for me to speak out. I want to call out [Price’s] behavior and also hold myself to a certain standard.

Hackett claimed that Price told her she would “love his d**k” and also whispered “anal sex” into her ear at one point. Hackett refused him on the grounds that she’s gay, married and has kids. She claimed she reported it to Amazon executives immediately after it happened in 2015, when she was promoting her series at San Diego Comic Con.

However, the story was made public in August, when The Information reported on Amazon’s investigation into the incident. Amazon didn’t suspend Price until Hackett came forward to accuse him publicly. After his suspension, Amazon cancelled an event they had planned to promote their new shows.
