Coming Soon reports that the Batman villian Hush, aka Tommy Elliot, will appear during the first season of the CW series Batwoman. He will not appear as Hush right away, but as Elliot, and will get an origin story of Hush over the course of the season before he steps into the role.

The character first appeared in a 12-part storyline in Batman #608-619. He wears a lot of bandages and seems intent on sabotaging Batman, using almost all of his villains and going after several members of the Batman Family.

Meanwhile, executive producers Caroline Dries and Sarah Schechter say it’s possible that Batman could eventually appear but DC is “very strict” abotu the character. They’re currently focused on Kate Kane and how she’s dealing with Gotham with Bruce Wayne missing. In each episode, she writes journals directly to him. It will debut on October 6 at 8 PM ET and air on Sundays. It is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Caroline Dries, Geoff Johns and Sarah Schechter. David Nutter and Marcos Siega executive produced the pilot.
