SDCC: First Trailer and Poster Arrive For Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Marvel Studios has released the first trailer and poster for the upcoming sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The trailer doesn’t reveal much of the story, but seems to suggest that T’Challa has passed away in-universe. This ties back to the passing of Chadwick Boseman and Kevin Feige promising that the role would not be recast. Namor can also be seen in the trailer.
The film was directed by Ryan Coogler from a script he wrote with Joe Robert Cole. It stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Tenoch Huerta, Martin Freeman and Angela Bassett. It will be released in theaters on November 11. It was also announced that the film will be the last of the MCU’s Phase 4.
