In a post on the official Twitter account for the show, it was revealed that the upcoming seventh season of Orange is the New Black will be the show’s last.

The final season will debut in 2019. The show was created by Jenji Kohan. It stars Taylor Schilling, Uzo Aduba, Kate Mulgrew, Laura Prepon, Dascha Polanco, Danielle Brooks, Selenis Leyva, Taryn Manning, Yael Stone, Jackie Cruz and Adrienne C. Moore. It debuted in 2013.
