Several Other Wrestlers Being Cast in Season Three of Young Rock

PWInsider reports that with production underway for the third season of Young Rock, NBC is looking to cast more wrestling roles for the episodes. They include:

* Ron Simmons (Faarooq), during the Attitude Era when he was the leader of the Nation of Domination. One episode will be set around Wrestlemania 13.

* Bad News Allen/Brown, who will be seen when Rocky Johnson wrestled in Hawaii in the 1980s.

* A new actor for Lars Anderson, who was seen in season two, briefly, taking over the booking for Rock’s grandmothers’ Hawaiian promotion. Several roles have already been recast after the show moved from Australia to the US, including Lou Albano, Ric Flair, Roddy Piper and more.

There will be ten episodes in the third season. Chavo Guerrero is once again the wrestling coordinator. The series returns on November 4 at 8:30 PM ET on NBC.
