Marvel is looking to restart production on Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings later this month, according to a new report. Deadline reports that Marvel is looking to resume production on the film in Australia, where the movie had been shooting for several weeks before the shutdown in March over the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the site, the crew for the Disney film will be quarantined upon arrival in the country, as required by law. The studio is taking “careful steps” in regards to the production, which originally shut down in March when director Daniel Cretton decided to self-isolate and voluntarily underwent testing because, as a new father, he didn’t want to endanger his child.

Marvel’s Shang-Chi stars Simu Liu, Awkwafina and Tony Leung and is currently set to release on May 7th, 2021.
