When She-Hulk arrives on Disney+, it won’t be the hour-long action-dramas that we’ve traditionally been used to seeing from superhero shows. Speaking with Emmy Magazine, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has revealed (per JoBlo) that the Tatiana Maslany-starring series will take a very different format — namely, a half-hour legal comedy.

Feige also said that the series will stay true to the She-Hulk series from John Byrne. That’s an interesting tone to take, as Byrne’s run on Sensational She-Hulk in 1989 was a satirical series and was one of the first books to have a character be aware that she was a comic book character, allowing her to break the fourth wall.

The series will star Maslany as the titular character, aka Jennifer Walters who is Bruce Banner’s cousin and gets She-Hulk powers by receiving an emergency blood transfusion from him. Unlike Bruce, she is able to retain her personality in her transformed form. Mark Ruffalo will appear as Bruce Banner/Hulk, while Tim Roth will reprise his role as The Abomination/Emil Blonsky.
