Shudder Renews Cursed Films For Season Two

Shudder is taking another look at cursed movies, renewing their hit show Cursed Films for a second season. The streaming platform announced on Friday (per Collider) that the show will be coming back for a second run of episodes.

The first season aired in 2020 and was a hit for the series, marking as their second most-watched series premiere in history at the time. It looked at the legends around allegedly cursed films in The Omen, Poltergeist, The Exorcist, The Crow, and Twilight Zone: The Movie.

There’s no word yet on which films will be examined in the second season, nor how many episodes are set. As noted on Thursday, Shudder also renewed Creepshow for season four as well as a new season of Slasher, while announcing a horror docuseries Queer For Fear: The History of Queer Horror.
