The G.I. Joe spin-off Snake Eyes is looking likely to release next year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During Hasbro’s earnings call earlier this week (per THR), the company’s chairman/CEO said that the film is looking likely to be released next year, instead of the originally-scheduled October 23rd, 2020 release date. He added, “We’re working out the specifics with Paramount.”

The film stars Henry Golding as the titular G.I. Joe ninja, who seeks vengeance for the death of his father by joining a ninja clan and finding acceptance in the process. The film also stars Andre Koji as Storm Shadow, Iko Uwais as Hard Master, Samara Weaving as Scarlett, and Úrsula Corberó as the Baroness. Robert Schwentke (RED) directed the film.
