Lucasfilm has announced the book and tie-in novels for Solo: A Star Wars Story. The company announced (per EW) that that Last Shot, by Daniel José Older, will be released along with Solo: The Official Guide by Pablo Hidalgo, The Moviemaking Magic of Star Wars: Creatures + Aliens by Mark Salisbury, a new Marvel comic series in the Star Wars line focusing on Lando, The Art of Solo by Phil Szostak, and Most Wanted by Rae Carson.

Last Shot is described a “Han and Lando Novel” that will take place in three distinct periods in the life of the two scoundrels including before the events of Solo: A Star Wars Story, another section between the events of Solo and Star Wars: Episode IV including the character Sana Starros (who claimed to be married to Solo in canon Marvel comics), and finally post-Return of the Jedi with appearances by Han, Leia, Lando, and a very young Ben Solo.

Meanwhile, Most Wanted is a young adult novel telling the story of Han and Qi’ra as teenagers on Corellia.

“We bounce around through time,” Lucasfilm Publishing creative director Michael Siglain said of Last Shot. “We always wanted to tell a story that had Han and Lando having one adventure after Return of the Jedi. At the same time, we really liked the idea of contrasting that with seeing them much earlier in their lives. A crime lord comes looking for the owner of the Millennium Falcon, but mistakenly thinks it was Han Solo at the time, but it was really Lando — which gets Lando mixed up in something else Han did that was Han’s fault. All these years later, the two of them have to right a wrong from much earlier in their history.”

Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Woody Harrelson as Han’s mentor Beckett, and Emilia Clarke as Qi’ra. Thandie Newton, Paul Bettany, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge also star. The film arrives in theaters on May 25th.
