The third Spider-Man film is reportedly looking to kick off production early in the fall. Screen Rant reports that they have uncovered an updated talent grid that lists the production restart target date as September. However, it must be noted that Sony does not have a date locked down yet due to the uncertainty of the ongoing global pandemic.

The film was originally scheduled to begin shooting in July for a release in the summer of 2021, but then of course the pandemic hit. The third film in the Sony/Marvel collaboration is now scheduled for a November of 2021 release as of now.

The third MCU Spider-Man film will bring back Tom Holland as the titular character. Other casting is not yet confirmed for the film, though it seems likely that Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, and J.K. Simmons at the least would likely be back to reprise their various roles.
