Stan Lee Gets Restraining Order Against Business Partner

Stan Lee has been granted a restraining order against his business partner Keya Morgan. TMZ reports that the comic book legend’s former lawyer Tom Lallas filed the order, which claims that Morgan — Lee’s longtime business partner anfd friend — took control of Lee’s home in February and moved him into a condo in June in an effort to isolate him from friends and family members.

The order comes after Morgan was arrested on suspicion of filing a false police report at the end of May. The filing claims that police and adult protective services conducted a welfare check on Lee on May 31th and that Morgan arrived during the welfare check but was kept out of the home by security guards. Morgan than allegedly called 911 and told police that three unidentified burglary suspects — aka, the detectives — were inside with Lee and had locked everyone else out.

A judge granted the restraining order, requiring Morgan to stay 100 yards away from Lee at all times. A hearing is set for July 6th.

Morgan told TMZ, “I have taken great care of Stan Lee for the past many years, and have never had a problem directly with Stan. I have a fantastic relationship with him for the past many years as he has stated countless times on the record and I literally saved his life once…This is a witchhunt by his daughter and her lawyer against me because she cannot stand the fact Stan likes me so much. I will 100% prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the allegations against me are false. And I will definitely take legal action against anyone who is making up these lies. The truth will come out.”
