Stan Lee’s Cause of Death Revealed

Stan Lee’s cause of death was listed as heart failure and respiratory failure, according to TMZ. The site has obtained the comic book icon’s death certificate, which notes those as the underlying causes of death which led to cardiac arrest.

The certificate also lists aspiration pneumonia as a condition “contributing to death but not resulting in the underlying cause.” Lee passed away on the morning of November 12th at the age of ninety-five.

According to the death certificate, Lee was cremated and his ashes returned to his daughter.
