We now know how long the final runtime for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be. JoBlo reports that the final film of the Skywalker saga officially comes in at two hours and 21 minutes. That’s a bit shorter than the initial reported runtime of 2:31, which would have had it the longest Star Wars film to date by three minutes. As it stands, The Last Jedi remains the record-holder at 2:28.

The film stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, Naomi Ackie, Domhnall Gleeson, Richard E. Grant, Lupita Nyong’o, Keri Russell, Joonas Suotamo, Kelly Marie Tran, and Billy Dee Williams and opens on December 20th. The synopsis reads:

Lucasfilm and director J.J. Abrams join forces once again to take viewers on an epic journey to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the riveting conclusion of the seminal Skywalker saga, where new legends will be born and the final battle for freedom is yet to come.
