The Verge reports that Sunday’s episode of Game of Thrones, the fourth of season seven, leaked online this morning. Even though HBO’s servers were hacked earlier this week, the episode leak was not a part of that. Instead, the leak came from distribution partner Star India, whose logo is watermarked on the episode. TVLine added that the episode, called “The Spoils of War”, appeared on Reddit, via a Google Drive link that was later removed.

Star India is a subsidiary of 21st Century Fox. A spokesperson said: “This confirms the compromise of episode 4 of Game of Thrones Season 7, earlier this afternoon. We take this breach very seriously and have immediately initiated forensic investigations at our and the technology partner’s end to swiftly determine the cause. This is a grave issue and we are taking appropriate legal remedial action.

HBO has had issues with operations in India and gave distribution rights to Star India in 2015. It’s possible that more episodes could leak from Star India in the future. Meanwhile, the other unrelated hack doesn’t appear to include full episodes. Hackers took 1.5 TB (terabytes) of data and have only published scripts for future episodes.

HBO has had problems with Thrones leaks before. The first four episodes of season 5 were leaked due to advance screeners sent to the press. A subsidiary of the channel also released a season six episode a day before its airing.
