First Teaser For Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer Counts Down To Thriller’s Release

Christopher Nolan’s latest film Oppenheimer arrives next year and the first teaser counts down to the release date. Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for the film, which is curiously a livestream replaying the trailer over and over. The trailer for the thriller contains a countdown that is updating with each iteration to bring us closer to the July 21st, 2023 release date.

The Nolan-directed thriller stars Cillian Murphy as the titular J. Robert Oppenheimer alongside Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid, and more. Based on Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin’s biographical novel American Prometheus, it follows theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, the director of the Los Alamos Laboratory during the Manhattan Project and his contributions that led to the creation of the atomic bomb.
