Warner Bros. has announced that they are pushing back the release of The Batman, originally scheduled for June 25th, 2021, to October 1st, 2021. The delay comes due to the ongoing pandemic causing production delays as well as the dominoes of other films scheduled for release this year needing to be pushed back and creating a backlog. The film stars Robert Pattinson as Batman and is directed by Matt Reeves.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros. is keeping Tenet in its July 17th, 2020 release date, as well as keeping Wonder Woman 1984 in its August 14th release date (after being delayed from its original June planned release).

Warner Bros. has also delayed The Sopranos prequel, The Many Saints of Newark, from September 25th, 2020, to March 12th, 2021.

King Richard, starring Will Smith as Richard Williams, the father of Serena and Venus Williams, has been delayed from November 25th, 2020 to November 19th, 2021.

The currently untitled Elvis movie has been delayed from October 1st, 2021 to November 5th, 2021.

The Flash is actually being moved up a month, from July 1st, 2022 to June 3rd, 2022.

Shazam! 2 has been delayed from April 1st, 2022 to November 4th, 2022.
