The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Adds Doctor Sleep’s Carl Lumbly

Carl Lumbly is heading from the Overlook Hotel to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, joining Disney+’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Deadline reports that Lumbly, who player Dick Halloran in Doctor Sleep, has joined the MCU series in an unknown role.

Lumbly is also known for a role with more superhero experience, having played M’yrnn, the father of J’onn J’onzz, on Supergirl. He also voiced J’onn — aka Martian Manhunter — in Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Justice League: Doom, and Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Lumbly joins a cast that includes Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, and Daniel Bruhl and is set to release in August of this year. It’s described as follows:
