We’ll have to wait a bit longer for our MCU bromance story, as The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will not premiere next month as originally planned. TV Line has confirmed the unsurprising news that the MCU series will not premiere next month due to production delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show was in the middle of its Prague stage of production in March when production was shut down due to the pandemic. There’s no word as of now as to when we will see the show, or if this means that fellow Disney+ MCU series WandaVision will not make its December date as well.

Mot everything is being delayed on Disney+; Jon Favreau confirmed in June that The Mandalorian’s second season will bow in October as planned, as filming was done before the lockdown began.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame and finds Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky (Sebastian Stan) teaming up for a new adventure. Daniel Bruhl, Emily VanCamp, Noah Mills, and Carl Lumbly all co-star.
