The Falcon And The Winter Soldier won’t end up teaming up until next year. The Marvel Cinematic Universe series, which was originally set to premiere this fall, has now been delayed with its Disney+ landing page now describing the show as arriving in 2021.

The series was pushed out after production was forced to shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was originally set to be the first MCU show on Disney+, but that designation will now go to WandaVision which is expected to arrive later this year.

The Falcon And The Winter Soldier is written by a team that includes John Wick creator Derek Kolstad and stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan in their roles as Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. Daniel Bruhl and Emily VanCamp reprise their roles as Helmut Zemo and Sharon Carter. They are joined by Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent along with Miki Ishikawa, Desmond Chiam, Carl Lumbly and Noah Mills.
