The Rock’s Netflix Film Red Notice Halts Production For Two Weeks
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s new Netflix action thriller Red Notice is taking a break due to the novel coronavirus, shutting down production for a couple of weeks. Johnson posted to Instagram on Saturday with a video of him addressing the crew, noting that the film will shot down starting Monday.
You can see the post below, in which he tells the crew, “I really appreciate all your hard work and your patience during this time, but my number one goal for your guys, and its our number one goal too, is that we’re going to get everyone home to their families. This is the kind of stuff that can wait, the most important thing is to take care of our families.” In the caption, he notes that the film, which he is co-producing through his Seven Bucks production banner, will shut down for the next two weeks starting Monday.
The film stars Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds and is described as a “globetrotting heist thriller.” Johnson previously described the film as follows:
“In the world of international crime, an Interpol issued RED NOTICE is a global alert to hunt down and capture the world’s most wanted. The world’s greatest art thief. The world’s greatest tracker. The worlds greatest conman.”
Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence, Skyscraper is directing the film.
