The Trailer For Morbius Is Here

Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for the Spider-Man spin-off Morbius, which arrives in theaters on July 31. Not only does the trailer give us a clear look at Jared Leto in the title role, but there is a “blink and you’ll miss it” tease of Spider-Man.

The film was directed by Daniel Espinosa from a script by Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless, Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. It also stars Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Tyrese Gibson, Al Madrigal and Michael Keaton.

Here’s a synopsis: One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.
