With only two episodes of The Walking Dead remaining this season, the show is making sure to keep fans nervous with a Game of Thrones reference. The AMC show’s official Twitter account stoked the attention of fans by posting to Twitter with a picture of Walder Frey during the “Red Wedding” scene of Thrones’ third season.

If you have been living completely away from the internet and television for the past six years, the Red Wedding was one of Game of Thrones’ most famous (infamous?) moments. It featured a ton of the show’s protagonists including Robb Stark, Catelyn Stark, Talisa Stark and the majority of the House’s forces slaughtered by Frey on behalf of the Lannisters.

The reference seems to be related to the Harvest Festival. The Festival is a major event from the comics, which saw the Whisperers infiltrate the festival and kidnap several characters, decapitate them and use their heads on pikes to mark their territory. The festival is taking place in the show as well, though details on what happens haven’t yet been leaked out. The synopsis for this week’s episode reads:

“The fair at the Kingdom is underway, with all four communities coming together in celebration for the first time in years; while some pacts are renewed, other deals will come at a much steeper price.”
