The Witcher to Restart Season Two Production in The UK in August
Netflix is set to begin production on season two of The Witcher again soon, kicking off filming in August. The show announced through its official Twitter account that production will begin again in the UK on August 17th.
The series shut down production in mid-March as one of the first major shows to do so. Production has begun to slowly pick back up, with Jurassic World: Dominion restarting filming on July 6th at Pinewood Studios with COVID-19 protections in place.
The Netflix series stars Henry Cavill and is based on the books by Andrzej Sapkowski, which have previously been adapted into the video game franchise that helped turn the property into a household name. The first season debuted on Netflix in December and has been a big hit for the service.
I’m dusting off my lute and quill,
I have some news, some mead to spill:
After all the months we’ve been apart
It’s time for production to restart.
