Third Cloverfield Film Releases Viral Site

The as-yet-untitled third Cloverfield universe film has released a viral promotion on the original film’s tenth anniversary. Paramount has created a viral site for Tagruato, which factored into the original film’s ARG, which you can check out here.

The site features a somewhat-readable message when you turn your brightness and contrast up that reads, “Tokyo – January 18 2018: Tagruato has begun development on a revolutionary new energy technology in what Ceo Garo Yoshida called a technological great leap forward for our planet. This renewable technology will take at least 4 years to complete along with another six years International regulatory bodies to bring the powerful revolutionary energy source by April 18 2028”

That in turn has let to a new site, 04182028.com, which you can see here. The new film stars David Oyelowo, John Ortiz, Elizabeth Debicki, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Chris O’Dowd, Ziyi Zhang and Daniel Bruhl and opens on April 20th. It is said to revolve around an American space station that, after an accident with a particle accelerator, suddenly finds that Earth has vanished altogether. Things get stranger when they then pick up traces of another space station nearby. It stars
