Title Revealed For AMC’s Third Walking Dead Series, Teaser Revealed

AMC’s second spinoff of The Walking Dead now has an official title. Scott M. Gimple, who is overseeing the whole of the franchise for the cable network, announced on Instagram that the new series is titled The Walking Dead: World Beyond. In addition, AMC has announced that Emmy winner Julia Ormond (Temple Grandin) will be part of the cast, playing the role of Elizabeth, the leader of a large group of survivors. Nico Tortorella, Annet Mahendru, and Nicolas Cantu also star.

The new series takes place ten years after the zombie apocalypse began and centers on two younger protagonists (Alexa Mansour and Aliyah Royale). The series will feature the first generation that comes of age since the apocalypse began. It premieres in spring of 2020 on the network.
