Tony Hardy Says Production Has Begun on Venom 2

Tom Hardy has revealed that production on Venom 2 has begun. The star shared a photo to Instagram that was tagged “W3’R’V3N0M2 day one” that has since been deleted, but got captured by a user on Reddit before it was.

Andy Serkis is directing the new film, which sees Hardy reprise his role as Eddie Brock. Also starring is Michelle Williams as Anne, Naomie Harris as Shriek, and Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady (aka Carnage). The film does not yet have a release date, though it’s rumored that the untitled October 2, 2020 date could be its slot. Plot details are unknown, though it will presumably involve Venom going head to head against Carnage and Shriek.
