Trailer Arrives For Upcoming Youtube Red Series Impulse

Youtube has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming ten-episode, hour-long Youtube Red series Impulse. The series comes from director Doug Liman. It adapts the third book in Steven Gould’s series, which includes Jumper. Liman previously adapted that as a 2008 film. It was the first book in the series. Impulse stars Maddie Hasson, Missi Pyle, Sarah Desjardins, Enuka Okuma, Craig Arnold and David James Elliott. Lauren LeFranc is the showrunner. Liman and Gene Klein will executive produce. It debuts during the summer.

Here’s a synopsis: In Impulse, 16-year-old Henry Coles is an outsider in her new town of Reston, New York. With a major chip on her shoulder and no friends, she remains withdrawn and isolated, but everything changes when a traumatic encounter with a classmate triggers something deep within Henry— unleashing a power she cannot control.
