TV Series in the Works Based on Donald Trump Presidential Tell-All Fire & Fury

Well, this will go well. A television series is in the works based on the controversial new book Fire and Fury about the first year of Donald Trump’s presidency. THR reports that Endeavor Content has optioned Michael Wolff’s headline-grabbing book and are seeking a potential broadcast home. Wolff would executive produce the series alongside TV producer Michael Jackson.

The book garnered headlines for a variety of reasons, including Trump aide and now-former Brietbart head Steve Bannon claiming in the book that a meeting between Trump campaign officials and a Russian lawyer purportedly offering damaging information about Hillary Clinton was “treasonous” and insulting several people. Bannon later apologized for his remakrs and left his post at Brietbart following the matter.

The Trump campaign attempted to block the book’s publication but was unsuccessful, and the book released on January 9th.
