MTV has added some hip-hop flavor to their rebooted plans for Scream: The Series. THR reports that rapper Tyga and C.J. Wallace, the son of Faith Evans and the late Notorious B.I.G., are set to join the show’s third season.

Tyga will play Jamal, described as “the loyal yet rough around the edges stepbrother” of Deion. Deion is a football player who’s heading off to a college scholarship when a masked killer comes into his life. Wallace will portray Amir, a “socially awkward savant” who wants to have a music career but hides that goal from everyone he knows. His enounters with the killer cause him to rethink how hard he’s willing to work for his dreams.

The two roles will be series regulars for the series, which will have an entirely new cast and storyline unconnected to the previous seasons when it returns in March of 2018.
