Universal Sets Release Date For Jurassic World 3

Universal Pictures has announced the release date for the third Jurassic World film, ahead of the second one’s release. The studio revealed on Wednesday that the third film has set down roots for a June 11th, 2021 release date.

The announcement comes four months before Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits theaters. That fin opens on June 22nd and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, BD Wong and Jeff Goldblum. The synopsis reads:

Welcome to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. With all of the wonder, adventure and thrills synonymous with one of the most popular and successful franchises in cinema history, this all-new motion-picture event sees the return of favorite characters and dinosaurs—along with new breeds more awe-inspiring and terrifying than ever before.
