Venom Blu-Ray Reportedly Includes Extended Post-Credits Sequence

UPDATE: Yeah, so not so much as it turns out. A rep has informed us that “None of the features listed are confirmed for the home entertainment release.”
ORIGINAL: The Blu-Ray release for Venom will reportedly feature an extended version of the post-credits sequence featuring Woody Harrelson. A promotional marketing sheet for the set lists all the special features, including a deleted scene titled “Extended San Quentin Post Credit Scene.”
That scene set up a future film (or perhaps films) and featured Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasiday, aka Carnage. It is expected that Carnage will be a big part of the planned sequel to the film. Venom is expected to arrive on Blu-Ray toward the end of the year, though no release date is confirmed.
