Warner Bros. is ringing the bell for its Godzilla vs. Kong matchup several months later than expected. Variety reports that Warner Bros. and Legendary have pushed the film from March 13th, 2020 to November 20th of the same year.

Adam Wingard (You’re Next, Blair Witch) is directing the film, which is the latest in Legendary’s monster universe following Godzilla, Kong: Skull Islandm and Godzilla: King of Monsters. The latter film opened in May and was a bit of a disappointment with $385 million worldwide against a $200 million budget. That disappointment hasn’t scuttled Wingard’s film, at least not as of yet, but has made the studio take some time to make sure that they get the next film right.

Godzilla vs. Kong will bring back Millie Bobby Brown and Kyle Chandler from King of Monsters and will also star Alexander Skarsgard, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Jessica Henwick, Julian Dennison, and Demián Bichir. It will hit theaters two weeks after Marvel’s The Eternals bows on November 6th.
