Last week we discussed, “What Can We Expect from X-Men Gold and Blue?” Here’s what you all had to say:

theburningfire: “I would be excited if I felt like anything that happened in Marvel or DC mattered anymore. But everything can be undone or retconned at will, so it all just feels hollow. Which is such a bummer to me. Especially with the recent end of the (great idea that went off the deep end) Ultimate universe. I love the X-Men and I want to get into this stuff, but I just can’t make mine Marvel anymore. I’m mostly making mine Invincible.”

mfactor: “Just cant get into the time-displaced X-men. Just bring back the Original 5 especially Jean. I’ll just be getting X-men Gold (only Marvel book I’m buying now, thanks a lot Marvel)”

Cactus: “So is the Cyclops in X-Men Blue also the Cyclops in Champions? That doesn’t seem to bode well for that book”

ggny: “I really liked Kitty as apart of the GOTG and in a relationship with Peter Quill. I would like to see that keep going.

As for the team i am disappointed Rogue isnt apart of either team. Hopefully she is a big part of the X-Rebirth”

Dan: “I’ve enjoyed Bunn’s work on Uncanny X-Men so far so I’ll definitely pick up his. And while I like the lineup of the other team I have not enjoyed much of Guggenheim’s recent work with marvel. Will probably give it a chance though it might be on a short leash.”

What’s Next for Frank Miller?

Ronin, Daredevil: Born Again, The Dark Knight Returns, Batman: Year One, Sin City, 300…I could go on but Frank Miller’s legacy as a comic book icon is set. But it’s always newsworthy when something new comes out about what he’s working on next.

During a panel at Comic Con Experience 2016 in São Paulo, Brazil, Miller spoke about his plans after Dark Knight III: The Master Race, including one previously unknown project. After mentioning his sequel to 300, Xerxes and the planned Dark Knight IV with Batman as Robin’s sidekick. DK III was initially advertised as the conclusion to the Dark Knight series that began with The Dark Knight Returns, but Miller announced he planned to produce a fourth miniseries to conclude the story. “I thoroughly applaud what [Brian Azzarello] is] doing,” he said “But now that he’s doing [DK III], it’s now a four-part series. I’m doing the fourth.”

Miller also mentioned a new period piece he’s discussing with DC Comics.”I have a fixation with World War II, and I’m talking to DC about a project with their heroes of the time,” Miller said, as reported by Omelete.

No matter what Miler does, people are going to pay attention. While I haven’t been a fan of everything he’s produced, I admit that I pick it up every time. Without fail.

What do you think of DKII? Miller’s legend? His future?
