Zack Snyder Reveals Original Steppenwolf Design From Justice League

Steppenwolf’s design was one of the oft-criticized parts of Justice League, and Zack Snyder has now shared the original look for the villain. Snyder posted a low-resolution picture of his original look for the herald of Darkseid, voiced by Ciarán Hinds in the film, which you can check out below.

The original look is less bulkily-armored than the theatrical cut version but covered in spikes. You can see a comparison between the two below as well.

It’s not clear if this original design was Snyder’s final vision and would thus appear in his “Snyder Cut” version of the film, which arrives on HBO Max early next year.
