Zack Snyder Says He Would Join the MCU For an Elektra Film

Zack Snyder is strongly associated with the DCEU, but he would jump over to Marvel if he could make an Elektra film. Snyder spoke with Comic Book Debate (courtesy of ScreenRant) and, when asked what character he would like to direct in the MCU, named Elektra Natchios.

“I would choose Elektra Lives Again,” Snyder said. “Do you know that Frank Miller comic book? It’s a graphic novel about Elektra. Daredevil is having these dreams about Elektra coming back to life, and it’s really cool and weird…It’s just cool, and beautiful. That’s what I would do. No one cares, but that’s what I would do.”

Elektra has been seen in the MCU already, having appeared in Marvel’s Netflix series Daredevil and The Defenders played by Elodie Yung. She was last seen in the climax of The Defenders where her fate was left ambiguous.

Snyder currently has Zack Snyder’s Justice League teed up and set to release on HBO Max early this year.
