Black Sabbath Expected to Top Billboard 200 Chart Next Week

June 12, 2013 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

Billboard reports that Black Sabbath is heading to another No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. The group’s new album 13 could sell over 120,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, June 16.

The new top 10 for the Billboard 200 chart will be released on Wednesday, June 19.

The projected sales figures for the new Black Sabbath should be enough to trump the rest of the new albums next week. 13 is the band’s first studio album with Ozzy Osbourne since 1978’s Never Say Die! release. The band has had only one top 10 album so far with the 1971 release Master of Reality which reached No. 8.

Other albums expected to make significant debuts on the Billboard 200 next week include Big Time Rush’s 24/Seven and the Man of Steel movie soundtrack.
