Blink 182 To Release New EP In Time For Christmas

November 9, 2012 | Posted by Joseph Lee

NME reports that Blink 182 will have a new EP released in time for Christmas.

Bassist/singer Mark Hoppus recently told rock station KROQ that new material was coming after the band left Interscope Records. He said a new album would likely arrive in 2013.

He wrote on his Twitter yesterday: “We’re releasing some new blink-182 songs in a few weeks. Watch this space.

Then guitarist/singer Tom DeLonge added: “New Blink EP for x mas… 🙂

Drummer Travis Barker previously said that “the best is yet to come” from the band. They released their first album in seven years last September, called Neighborhoods. Barker said it feels like the album represented the band “barely getting back into the rhythm”.
