Chester Bennington’s Autopsy Report Released

The autopsy report for Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has been released. TMZ reports that the autopsy and toxicology reports reveal that Bennington had trace amounts of alcohol in his system at the time of his death and tested “presumptive positive” for MDMA, aka ecstasy. The ectsacy result was based on one test though, and two subsequent tests did not detect it with the final conclusion was Bennington was not under the effects of drugs at the time of death.

The site adds that police found prescription bottle of generic Ambien on his dresser, a half-empty pint glass of Corona and an empty bottle of Stella Artois. Bennington was in an outpatient treatment program according to his wife Talinda.

Bennington committed suicide on July 20 by hanging. According to the report, there was no suicide note but was a handwritten “apparent biography.”
