Taylor Swift is off the hook in a DJ’s claim of defamation over her allegations that he groped her at a meet-and-greet. TMZ reports that the judge in the case threw out David Mueller’s defamation claims against Swift on Friday in court.

Mueller’s suit was against Swift, her mother and her management team and alleged that they cost him his job after Swift alleged that he grabbed her bare behind at the meet-and-greet. Swift had filed a countersuit for sexual assault and battery for a mere $1, arguing that it was about the principle of the matter.

Swift took the stand yesterday and testified, “He did not touch my rib. He did not touch my hand. He grabbed my bare ass..He stayed latched on to my bare ass…as I moved away from him visibly uncomfortable. It was a very shocking thing that I have never dealt with before.”

The judge in the case ruled that as Swift only told her mother and management team about the alleged grope, she did not directly communicate the information to Mueller’s employer. Thus, it is impossible to prove that Swift got him fired.

Mueller’s case against Swift’s mother and management team are still alive, as is Swift’s case against the DJ. A final verdict is expected next week.
