The family of one of R. Kelly’s alleged sex slaves has turned over what they call evidence that R. Kelly told her to lie to police. TMZ reports that Joycelyn Savage’s family has provided federal investigators in New York digital records including emails, texts and audio recordings which detail Kelly’s manipulation of Savage.

According to the site, the records include emails and texts from a former assistant of Kelly, Cherl Mack, who arranged for Savage to fly to Palm Springs to see Kelly in 2015. After that, Savage dropped everything in her life and moved in with Kelly. Also reportedly included are audio recordings of Kelly coercing Savage into lying about their relationship if police ever spoke with her.

The recordings also allegedly include Kelly discussing his plans to conceal his relationship with Savage and demanding that Joyceln text him a statement that she herself was lying, just in case she ever spoke out. The Savages also provided authorities with social media messages from Kelly’s camp that allegedly show he had others working for him to get young women.

The Savages’ attorney declined to comment on the story, as did the U.S. Attorney’s Office who are investigating Kelly about possibly violating the Mann Act, which prohibits the transportation of minors across state lines for purposes of sex or debauchery.

Kelly’s attorney told TMZ, “We are not going to continue to address anonymous rumors. From now on we are only going to deal with facts.”
