TMZ has an update on the ongoing R. Kelly saga in the light of the allegations made in the recent Lifetime docuseries Surviving R. Kelly. According to the latest report, the FBI contacted the family of one of the alleged victims and brainwashed women who is with R. Kelly in Joycelyn Savage.

According to the report, Joycelyn’s father, Timothy Savage, was contacted by the FBI several times about the subject of R. Kelly. In turn, Savage provided the FBI with a great deal of the same information that was revealed in the Lifetime docuseries. This information included the known whereabouts of R. Kelly and Joycelyn Savage from state to state, including where their relationship started, texts and also e-mails.

The FBI is given jurisdiction when an adult brings a minor across state lines for sexual purposes. The report implies that the FBI might have launched an investigation into the singer, or it might simply be a case of the recent allegations putting the musician on the radar of federal authorities. As previously reported, there’s an ongoing criminal investigation into the singer in Georgia.

Savage’s family believes the singer is holding Joycelyn against her will, which she denies. Regarding the subject, FBI stated that the agency does not confirm or deny investigations.
