Harlem Shake Holds Onto Top Spot on Billboard Hot 100

Baauer stayed on top of the Billboard Hot 100 this week. His internet meme-turned-hit “Harlem Shake” stuck it out for the #1 spot according to Billboard. Holding at #2 was Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop” featuring Wanz while Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man” was up five spots to #3. Mars’ song is his eleventh to pass a million downloads sold. Taylor Swift was up one spot to #4 with “I Knew You Were Trouble” while Britney Spears and’s “Scream & Shout” was down a spot to #5.

Rising four places to #6 was Drake with “Started From the Bottom” while Rihanna’s “Stay” featuring Mikky Ekko was down four to #7. Justin Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay Z was up a spot to #8, Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven” was down two to #9 and Lil Wayne’s “Love Me” featuring Drake and Future was up nine to #10.
